Parking & High Street Trade

In the very same week Old hill traders complain that Sandwell Labour's new parking charges may affect trade

I see the Merry Hill centre is having a massive trade boost with 1000's waiting for the shops to open
One thing to remember is Merry Hill's car parking is FREE

Sandwell Tory said
Well folks West Bromwich was once a thriving town called the golden mile, then the changes started followed by the exodus of traders, I feel so sorry for the traders of Old Hill,

If the Government has said Councils can scrap parking charges

If the Portas High Street review advised parking charges was a problem and said

They are recognised as important hubs of social interaction and providers of employment and local commerce

So I ask
What is it with parking in Sandwell ?

Doesn't Sandwell Labour get it?

Can you think of any more that have gone?

Who will Labour Blame?

Labour's Petrol rise escalator scrapped again

Times are hard repairing the mess, but under Labour your Petrol would have been MUCH dearer, about 15 to 20p dearer and once again we've scrapped the Labour Petrol price escalator.

We have now scrapped most of Labour's rises,

But ask yourself would Labour have scrapped its own tax ?
