Under Labour your council Tax doubled, yes it doubled.  We Conservatives have helped Sandwell by giving them the extra money to Freeze council Tax for the last 3 years.

Petrol

Remember Labour's shocking Petrol price escalator ? When petrol was Guaranteed to go up?

We know Labour's petrol tax hikes hurt you and we have taken action to cut fuel duty, overall it has been frozen for 31 months.

Petrol is now about 10p / L lower than it would have been under HIGH TAX LABOUR.

Booze

We cancelled the last planned tax hike and actually lowered the price of tax on booze

Labour increased beer duty by 60 per cent

Pensions

Remember back in April 2000 when Labour raised the state pension by a disgraceful 75p?

The Conservatives gave the biggest ever cash increase to the Basic State Pension of £5.30
