To park, or not to park, that is the question:

At Last!
I see in the press Sandwell have dropped their plans for parking restrictions to be implemented by the Albion Ground; I feel that if this plan had been implemented, it would have had a serious impact on the loyal Albion fans, which with their team bring in such well earned kudos and revenue into the borough.
This news came in the same week as a number of traders have been voicing concern that the lack of car parking in West Bromwich is affecting their trade, allied to the fact the new Police station has no car park for its staff and the new college has only a handful of parking places.
What is Sandwell’s problem with the car?
Mean while we are still waiting to see if the West Brom Building Society moves its head office out of the borough
What is going on in Sandwell??

  2. Hello Bob
Rows of http:'s do make make it right, the best people to ask about high streets are the people who
    1, Use them
2, Try to eek a living from them
    3, Mothers with children
    4, the old

how many on your council have run a private business?

Sadly Bob the great socialist plan to force people on buses and walk with the best one being offering inducements to cycle into towns all across the UK plainly is not working and no pun intended people vote with their feet and use shops and stores that have large free car parks as in Wednesbury, Oldbury and Merry hill

I read with shocked amusement the new Police station in West Bromwich as no officer car parking, what happened to safety & security?

But Bob I have to ask would you cycle, perhaps on a tandem or bus ride into a town for a meal or perhaps work ?? would you relish paying to park so you can work in a town because the traders and users of towns have to pay and 10 - 15 quid a week is a lot out of an average salary.

but here's an http you may like
